Thomas Ventresca

Mr. Ventresca earned a B.A. in economics from Yale University, a M.Ed. (Secondary History) from Boston College and is the founder of Write Right Now. He has high school teaching experience in the following subjects: world history, U.S. history, American studies, economics and psychology. Prior to his career in education, Mr. Ventresca worked in finance for more than two decades. Mr. Ventresca coached high school football for 10 years and remains active as a consultant.


Jackie Ranocha
Ms. Ranocha earned a B.A. in political science from UCLA, an M.A. in political science from Columbia University and an M.Ed. from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Ms. Ranocha is licensed to teach English (grades 5-12) in Massachusetts and has experience teaching English at the high school level, including AP English literature. Prior to teaching, Ms. Ranocha worked in investment management for 15 years. 


Frank Costa
Mr. Costa earned a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and a M.E.D. in Education from Cambridge College. He has taught all levels of high school mathematics from algebra to calculus. Mr. Costa has more than twenty years experience in SAT prep. Mr. Costa also served as the math club advisor, class advisor, golf coach and basketball coach.


Donna Hayden
Ms. Hayden earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University, Canada. She also completed graduate level mathematics for teaching courses at the Harvard Extension School and is a certified teacher. Ms. Hayden tutored students for mathematics and MCAS preparation in the Abington public schools and has tutored students in ACT and SAT preparation for several years. Prior to her career in education, Ms. Hayden worked for the Canadian Consulate and in the banking industry. 


James McPhillips
Mr. McPhillips earned a B.S. in civil engineering and an M.A.T. (mathematics) from Northeastern University. Currently, Mr. McPhillips teaches AP physics at Xaverian Brothers High School. He has classroom teaching and tutoring experience in the following subjects: physics, calculus, algebra and statistics. Mr. McPhillips has several years of high school coaching experience in football and baseball.


Marisa O'Connell

Ms. O'Connell earned a B.A. in mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross and is a certified math teacher with more than a decade of classroom experience. In addition, she has an extensive private tutoring background in middle and high school math. Prior to her career in education, Ms. O'Connell worked in public accounting and the software industry.
