Thomas Ventresca

Mr. Ventresca earned a B.A. in Economics from Yale University, a M.Ed. (Secondary History) from Boston College and is the founder of Write Right Now. He has high school teaching experience in the following subjects: world history, U.S. history, American studies, economics and psychology. Prior to his career in education, Mr. Ventresca worked in finance for more than two decades. At present, Mr. Ventresca coaches high school football on the South Shore.

Mary Stack

Ms. Stack earned a degree in Journalism and a Masters in Mass Communication from the University of Leicester (UK). She has classroom teaching experience in creative writing and journalism at private schools in Massachusetts. Ms. Stack's professional background is as a TV producer and journalist. Her work has appeared on British network television and in several national and international publications. Ms. Stack is a freelance writer, owns Kaleidoscope, an arts and creativity camp, and is the co-founder of Write Right Now.

Penelope Baltera

Ms. Baltera earned an A.B. with honors in Mathematics from Brown University and a M.A.T. (Mathematics) from Bridgewater State College. She has taught high school mathematics for nine years in courses ranging from Pre-Algebra through Calculus. Ms. Baltera also served as the coach of the math team. She has tutored privately for several years and is currently an adjunct instructor in mathematics at Quincy College.

James McPhillips

Mr. McPhillips earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a M.A.T. (Mathematics) from Northeastern University. Currently, Mr. McPhillips is chairman of the science department at a private high school. He has classroom teaching and tutoring experience in the following subjects: physics, calculus, algebra and statistics. In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. McPhillips coaches high school football.

Frank Costa

Mr. Costa earned a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and a M.E.D. in Education from Cambridge College. He has taught all levels of high school mathematics from geometry to algebra I and II to calculus. Mr. Costa has also served as a math club advisor, a class advisor and a golf coach - winning two state championships.

Karen McInnis

Ms. McInnis earned a B.A. from Skidmore College with Phi Beta Kappa distinction and a M.Ed. from Lesley University with a concentration in middle school English. In addition, Ms. McInnis earned a J.D. from Suffolk University and practiced law for 15 years prior to entering the teaching profession. Currently, she teaches eighth grade English.
