Mr. Ventresca holds a degree in Economics from Yale University, a Masters in Education (secondary history) from Boston College and is a certified teacher. He has recent high school teaching experience in the following subjects: world history, U.S. history, American studies, economics and psychology. Mr Ventresca is also active in coaching sports at both the high school and youth levels.
Ms. Stack holds a degree in Journalism and a Masters in Mass Communication from the University of Leicester (UK). She has classroom teaching experience in creative writing and journalism at private schools in Massachusetts. Ms. Stack's professional background is as a TV producer and journalist. Her work has appeared on British network television and in several national and international publications. Ms. Stack currently directs Kaleidoscope, an arts and creativity camp at Milton Academy.
Ms. Baltera earned an A.B. with honors in Mathematics from Brown University and a M.A.T. (Mathematics) from Bridgewater State College. She has taught high school mathematics for nine years in courses ranging from Pre-Algebra through Calculus. Ms. Baltera also served as the coach of the math team. She has tutored privately for six years and is currently an adjunct instructor in mathematics at Quincy College.
Ms. Boyle earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Loyola University Chicago and a M.Ed. from Curry College, graduating with distinction. She has tutored students on the South Shore for the past fourteen years in subjects ranging from middle school math to Calculus II, and has provided test preparation for the SAT, MCAS and MTEL exams. Ms. Boyle also has classroom teaching experience at the community college and middle school levels and is licensed to teach grades 9 - 12.
Mr. McPhillips earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a M.A.T.
(Mathematics) from Northeastern University. Currently,
Mr. McPhillips is chairman of the science department at a
private high school. He has classroom teaching and tutoring
experience in the following subjects: physics, calculus,
algebra and statistics. In addition to his teaching duties,
Mr. McPhillips coaches high school football.
